This song, composed by Albert Von Tilzer with lyrics by Lew Brown, was performed by The Peerless Quartet, the most commercially successful group during World War I in the United States.  The Peerless Quartet’s recording was issued under the Victor label.  Based on sales estimates, the song reached #8 on the top 100 songs of the time from the Quartet's debut of the piece on April 27, 1918.

The sheet music was just as popular, having been printed three times.
