Our Mission

United with our donors, we are creating a premier military museum and library dedicated to the Cold War, inspiring American citizens to grasp and shape the future of military history, affairs, and national security. Through innovative exhibits and comprehensive resources, we aim to ignite a passion for understanding and preserving our military heritage.

Located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the Pritzker Military Museum and Library collections consist of just over 40,000 items and over 65,000 book titles. A non-governmental, non-partisan organization, the Museum & Library features diverse collections, scholarly initiatives, and programs. With national and global reach, the Museum & Library aims to share the stories of those who served, helping citizens everywhere appreciate the relationship between the armed forces and the civilians whose freedoms they protect.

Who We Are

Colonel (IL) Jennifer N. Pritzker, IL ARNG (Retired)

Jennifer N. Pritzker is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of TAWANI Enterprises and the TAWANI Foundation, and is Founder and Chair of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library.

Bridget D. Altenburg

Ms. Altenburg’s 18-year career includes experience in the non-profit and for-profit sectors as well as military service.

Colonel Charles K. Dalgleish USA (Retired)

Colonel Dalgleish is the President of a Viking-themed 501c3 nonprofit that helps active and veteran military through programs that include adventurous, athletic, skills oriented, and historic focused activities. He served in the US military on active and reserve duty for over 31 years and led a career in the CIA as a Paramilitary Operations Officer – an elite cadre - where he retired as a senior officer. He is a combat veteran many times over in multiple wars, conflicts, and covert actions both in and out of uniform and has been decorated for his service. In the Army, he was affiliated with the Ranger Regiment and served with the Joint Special Operations Command and various Special Operations and Special Mission Units. He is a Distinguished Honor Graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College and a graduate of the National War College. He is a published author on military history and intelligence topics and is a frequent contributor to the CIA’s “Studies in Intelligence” journal where three times he has received their annual award for Intelligence History writing. Colonel Dalgleish is fluent in several European and South Asian languages and can read Old Norse. He is a member of the Society of the Cincinnati and the Special Forces Club in London.

Rear Admiral Stephen C. Evans, USN (Retired) is a strategic and operational executive leader with a three decade career of driving transformation and innovation in a complex, highly sensitive global organization.

Joe Heins, United Airlines

Joe is a graduate of the US Navy Engineering Test Pilot School, has a BS in aviation management from Southern Illinois University, and is currently the Vice President of Network Operations for United Airlines.

Captain Lory Manning, USN (Retired)

Captain Lory Manning, USN (Retired) currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Service Women's Action Network.

MSgt Ginny Narsete, USAF (Retired)

Ginny Narsete is a retired Air Force veteran and current Chairperson of Operation HerStory.

Dr. Terrell Odom

Dr. Terrell Odom currently serves as Chairman for the City of Chicago’s Advisory Council for Veterans Affairs, strategic advisor for National Able Network’s veterans program, ambassador for the American Legion’s Military Credential Advancement Initiative, a member of the USS Illinois 786 Club, a Board Member for Chicago Veterans, and founder of Veterans Serving Our Communities (VSOC) – a 501c organization that provides mentoring programs for middle and high-school students in underserved communities.

Elisabeth Pennix, CAPT, U.S. Navy Reserves

Elisabeth currently works as Deputy General Counsel with Sloan Global Holdings and with almost 19 years of service in the US Navy Reserves, CAPT Pennix currently serves as an Appellate Judge and Executive Officer for the Navy Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals (NMCCA).
