Baylor’s book Bull Run To Bull Run or Four Years In The Army of Northern Virginia: Containing A Detailed Account of the Career and Adventures of The Baylor Light Horse, Company B, 12th Virginia Cavalry, C.S.A. recounts his company’s experiences during the Civil War. Unlike Gilbreath, Baylor’s writings were published during his lifetime.
